Boulding (1989) Three faces of power

The Metta Introduction to nonviolence lists Boulding’s text as a resource. I’m somewhat ambivalent about this choice… and I wanted to play with Canva’s infographics

    1. Thanks Arnold 🙂 I do think it`s worth reading – especially because Boulding doesn’t romanticise the `integrative` function operating within each `face` of power. Yes, there is trust, courtesy and benevolence AND use of guilt, shame — all can be used to bind people to each other or a group. Sometimes I think we like to ignore the negative aspects, or pretend we don’t experience that, and then we have no choice about what to do with them.
